I am a dedicated and creative Ballet and Contemporary dance artist with a deep passion for both performance and teaching. With an open, supportive, and encouraging approach, I am committed to inspiring the younger generation by sharing the knowledge, discipline, and artistry I have gained throughout my own dance journey. My teaching style blends structure with joy, using positive reinforcement and personalised instruction to build confidence, foster creativity, and support students of all abilities and interests.
Since 2022, I have worked with young dancers across a variety of age groups, from toddlers to adults. My goal in every class is to create a safe and engaging environment where children can grow—not only in their technical skills but also in their confidence, self-expression, and social development. I prioritise strong communication with both students and parents and enjoy being part of a collaborative teaching team.
My own training has given me a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary styles. I completed full-time contemporary training at Brent Street, earning an Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance), and am currently undertaking my Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet) with the Royal Academy of Dance. I trained at The McDonald College from Year 8 to Year 12, completing full-time ballet training through the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2.
I’ve had the privilege of performing in classical ballets such as Giselle (Lead Willi), Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty with Premier State Ballet, as well as working with company members of Australian Dance Theatre in contemporary repertoire. My professional development has been enriched by participating in workshops led by industry professionals including Crystal Pite (through Jiri Pokorny), Billy Thomas, Jenni Large, Rikki Mason, Samantha Hines, Madeline Harms, Holly Doyle, Adam Blanch, Chloe Leong, Davide Di Giovanni, Stephen Tannos, Victor Zarallo, Airu Matsuda, Shone Weiler, Michael Smith, and Charmene Yap.
As both an artist and educator, I am committed to lifelong learning and to nurturing every student’s potential through thoughtful, inclusive, and empowering dance education. My goal is to not only teach technique but to cultivate a deep love and respect for the art of dance in each individual I work with.
